     This blog is for you.  In the sea of conflicting science, magazine headlines, advertisements, new diets, financially motivated experiments... you get the point... it is hard to know what health and nutrition information is trustworthy.  It's even harder to find the right solution for your body. 

 

     One of the biggest blessings of my education and training was having a steady stream of high quality resources.  These resources provided a wealth of nutrition information which was immediately applicable to me, my family and my colleagues. 

 

     This blog is my chance to share this information with you.  My first post discusses nutrition and fitness as integral to our military and our nation as laid out by Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.  Coming soon is a 3 part post wich will discuss daily energy management and on properly fueling your workout for peak performance, recovery and growth. 

 

     After that, the subject is up to you.  What health concerns to you have?  Are you curious about the pros/cons of a particular diet?  Has your physical training plateaued? Wondering what’s so special about gluten free? This blog is for you!  How can I help?
