Need a weight loss smoothie recipe? Simple enough, search the internet for a “healthy” weight loss smoothie recipe…WRONG…I tried but my goodness such bad advice out there!
This is what I discovered several weeks ago while preparing for a speaking engagement with 100+ business women. Shocking was not only the bad advice, but the unhealthy recipes and recommendations for those wanting to reduce their weight.
There are a few basic No No’s in the weight loss department.
Commercial Yogurt – In concept yogurt should be a great product, but unfortunately our choices are limited here in USA. Our store shelves are full of yogurt made from cows fed GMO corn, bovine growth hormones and antibiotics, this translates into a toxic mix.
Fruit juice – Fruit juice will not assist in weight loss, concentrated sugars are a bad idea.
Whey Protein Powder – Most whey protein powders are loaded with the same toxins as the commercial yogurt.
Cottage cheese – Same toxic milk source as commercial yogurt.
Soy milk – Seriously? Worst food for women, messes with our hormones.
Lack of Greens – Where’s the good stuff like greens? You know spinach, romaine, red leaf lettuce, bok choy, turnup greens, etc. These wonderful greens help you to detoxify AND lose weight.

Fast Easy Healthy Weight Loss Smoothie
2 cups greens (any one of these; spinach, romaine, mixed baby greens, turnup greens, bok choy, dandelion greens)
11/2 cups liquid (kombucha and/or coconut water)
1 inch fresh ginger
1 orange (optional)
Place in high speed blender.
